    Estate produced, Hand harvested.

Manuel Olivier comes from a family of farmers, and he followed an unusual professional way. After high school he travelled to Switzerland to persue his passion of skiing, and to make a little money he worked in the vineyards and he fell in love with wine.  He later returned to France and in 1990 began to grow a few acres of vineyards in Côte de Nuits. Today, Manuel is a pinot noir specialist, and grows grapes in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. At 43 years old, he is one of the “new generation” winegrowers, and rewarded by many medals. Majority of Manuels wine comes from his own 10 hectares in the Hautes Cotes de Nuits which he farms naturally, without chemicals, and gently hand harvests the grapes.
