DESCRIPTION

This is a rare estate produced and bottled vintage Prosecco from Valdobiadene, the grand cru area for Prosecco.  It has delicate, persistent bubbles, with lots of fruit; peach and apple and good acidity.

The Valdobbiadene area appears luxuriously in the northern border district of Treviso, expanding across 15 districts between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, approximately 50 km from Venice. This territory, being mainly characterized by hills and reaching an altitude of 500 m, is particularly fitting for viticulture due to a suitable climate influenced by the presence of both the Adriatic Sea and the Dolomites. Since 2009 the Prosecco variety produced in this area can boast the denomination of “Superiore DOCG”, therefore deserving to enter the top of the pyramid of Italian wines.
