The Vieilles Vignes is produced from 45 year old Cabernet Franc vines and aged 6 months in neutral fondres (700 liter barrels). It has plush, red-cherry fruit, fine-grained tannins, and hints of pepper and licorice on the nose. Ideal wine for roasted beef and beef braised with lardoons of pork fat and mushrooms.
