The aromatic Verdejo is the signature grape of Spain’s Rueda region located on the banks of the Duero River just east of Ribera del Duero. Modern fermentation allowed the winemakers to capture and preserve Verdejo’s special fragrance and delicacy and share its charms with the world. On the nose Verdejo’s perfumed nature takes center stage with aromas of grass, basil, passion fruit and white grapefruit. Brisk and fresh on the palate, the wine alternates waves of tangerine, grapefruit and star fruit complemented by refreshing grassy, herbal notes and zesty acidity. The wine finishes clean and pure, reprising hints of passion fruit, pineapple and dusty saline minerals.
