3 years in oak barrels
Liatiko is an ancient red grape variety originating from the Greek island of Crete. The vineyards are planted in hilly area of Dafnes with calcium clay soil at elevation of 1650ft. The hand harvested grapes are completely sun dried before vinification, and wine is then aged for 3 years in oak barrels. This unique sweet and balanced wine has aromas and taste of chocolate, dark fruits, fig and coffee.
