DESCRIPTION

This village appellation gives one of the most powerful wines of the “Côte de Beaune” in Burgundy. This Aloxe-Corton can be aggressive when young, but it will become rounded along the years. The hand picking in this 50 year-old vineyard allows to keep whole grapes for a long maceration with maturing during 18 months in oak barrels to fix tannins with ageing potential around 15 years.
