Bosnia & Herzegovina
Zilavka is an indigenous varietal of Bosnia Herzegovina which has been grown there for centuries. This one comes from Vinarija Citluk, a winery located just 20 miles from the Adriatic Sea. The vineyards where these 40 year old vines grow are three feet deep of broken down limestone. Stainless steel fermentation, no oak aging. The result is a wine that’s mineral focused with a distinct taste. Flowery aromas, Minerals, lemon, lime with a medium to light body. Fantastic value for a 1L bottle.
