DESCRIPTION

From Coastal Croatia, a Crljenak Kaštelanski aka Zinfandel! Hand harvested and aged in various size oak barrels. It has a light, delicate nose with a hint of underlying spices. This carries in to the body as well, creating a very articulate bottle that’s one of the best expressions of the grape. It is produced in tiny quantities by Neven Vuina, a traditional garagiste producer with a tiny winery a couple hundred feet from the Adriatic sea.

Hand harvested grapes, spontaneous fermentation with no added yeast. The wines are not filtered or fined.
