Long slow fermentation, reducing wine to 90 g/L of sugar
Dessert wine in Port style made from Crljenak from new vineyards in Baska Voda. The grapes are left to dry on the vines until desired sugars are reached. It can be drunk at any occasion and suits cakes and chocolate. The wine ages in oak barrels. Zlatan “Porat” contains 90 g of sugar per liter. It’s not fortified wine…but almost. Croatians don’t have Port or Banyuls but Zlatan Porat may be the first Croatian wine that is capable of supporting dark chocolate.
